WHY FLOWERS

Flowers offer scope for expression at many different scales, from bouquets and arrangements to pairings with vessels, exhibitions and the decoration of entire spaces. Even with the same flowers, what we choose, what we combine them with and where we place them can create an entirely different scene.

At the same time, I felt there was more to explore in work that conveys not just the beauty of the flowers, but also a clear and consistent sense of the maker’s aesthetic and identity.

Rather than simply arranging flowers to look beautiful, we want our thinking to be visible in every choice. The desire to build a lasting business around that possibility was the starting point for THE PUFL.
